In 1903, the Indian Hotels company limited ( IHCL ) was established by mr.jamshetji Nusserwanji Tata and is known as Taj Hotels, Resorts and palaces. It is recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. Taj Taj Taj hotels Resorts and Places is a symbol of Indian, hospitality. In the same year , Taj Mahal Hotel Mumbai was constructed with international standards and has completed its centenary year in 2003. Taj Hotels Resorts and palaces comprises 93 hotels in 55 locations across India with an additional 16 international hotels in the Maldives, Malaysia, Australia, UK , USA, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Africa and the middle East.
Today, IHCL operates Taj Air , a luxury private jet operation and has a flight catering services named Tajsats Air Catering Ltd. Since 1993, it operates the Indian institute of Hotel management, in Aurangabad, The institute offers a three - year diploma course in hotel management and catering technology and has affiliations with severals American and European programmes.
